I am not a Pentecostal. I am a dispensational Bible Teacher. In reading the N.T. Pentecostal wrongly mix that which applies solely to "the church the body of Christ" with that which only applies to Israel. But I can set aside those references toward the Pentecostal view to enjoy this wonderful, helpful New Testament that all students of the Word should have. Its clarity and consistency in view of the Cross of Christ, "Him crucified," is wonderful. This N.T. consistently reveals Christ's cross-work on almost every page of Paul's 13 Epistles to "the body of Christ." This is correct since The Cross is the source of all benefit that flows only from the His Cross-work, including the power of His sanctifying Holy Spirit who is at work in the believer's spirit. I now may buy the whole Expositor's Bible, after trying the N.T and finding it so exceptional.Product details

Great Bible but, I do not feel great about all of the red lettering. I feel the red lettering should only be the words that, Jesus spoke. Sorry, I don't feel correct about purchasing this again.
Perfect Bible for me, I am not great at understanding the word and sometimes need to read it over and over but this Bible helps explain and breaks it down.
The KJV Expositor's New Testament Bible has really helped me to understand the scriptures in a way I haven't before. The explanations/interpretations come from the original Greek and Hebrew texts which open up God's Word to those of us who aren't Bible scholars and have been confused or unsure about some of the passages. This has been an excellent Bible to study and allows me to delve deeper into God's divine teaching. It has truly been a blessing.
What can I say about this Expositor's New Testament from the Jimmy Swaggart organization? Jimmy preaches from it often at his church, it is much easier to handle then the complete Expositor's Bible that he sells. I was very skeptical, and cautious, when I purchase this book, and his Bible. The Counselor's Edition contains the complete NT as it is conveyed in the regular Bible, but comes with a number of articles used for counselling and evangelism. Now in the Expositor's Bible, and NT, one will find a mixture of scripture, comments, and commentary. The words in read are those of Jimmy. My guess is that the comments of Jimmy far outweigh the commentary, and should not even be in there. So as it is laid out, a single verse may be broken up into sections in order to get all of Jimmy's comments/commentary in. Does every verse in the Bible need commentary? No. Yet most of the scriptures do. Some people like this kind of study. I prefer reading the Bible as it war written and let the Spirit guide me in my studies. One of the downsides of his Bible is this - it is very cross centered (I mean pretty much on every page you get a cross sermon somewhere); it is very Pentecostal; and it is very Jimmy Swaggart oriented. Jimmy claimed that God told him to write this Bible. I'm not sure. Yes, the format of the Bible is pleasing, it has useful information at the back of the Bible which every study Bible needs, and it is very well put together. But Jimmy loves to be center stage, and he is with this Bible. I love Jimmy's books and commentaries on the Bible, but have a lot of problems with this Bible. To each his own. It comes with a load of positives, and a boatload of negatives. But if this is a first Bible for you, I would recommend something else. This NT sells for $25 from JSM.ORG. I got it cheaper on Ebay. I use it periodically, but it will never be my main choice of Bibles.
I believe this is the best New Testament Commentary that explains the New Covenant that Jesus Christ brought into this world. When He accomplished His mission He gave another gift in the HOLY SPIRIT as our Teacher and Comforter. GOD BLESS Jimmy Swaggart for his knowledge of the WORD OF GOD the HOLY BIBLE.
I so love this little book, I bring it to church on Weds. nights. I just received the Big Woman's Study Expositor Bible. I am all set now. It is really cool having it in Church, Whenyou go to the scripture that the Preacher says, You can read the notes in RED after every verse and gives you a better understanding and you can also see if the Preacher hits on what it says. I love it so much.
Bought the NT of Brother Swaggart's Bible and was very pleased with it. It is Refreshing and a new format well worth the price. I've read many versions and Study Bibles cover to cover in my 60+ years and found this Bible with 'in verse' notes simple to read and staying with the Pentecostal view. It did expand my understanding and made me see its words are as current today as in old times. Also I find the notes actually helped with Revelations which I have always considered difficult. You can easily skip the in verse commentary with it being in red. I only wish Brother Swaggart's full Bible came in format. If God told him to write this, I believe it. Maybe God will tell him to get the Full thing on as well. Time is ending and this could be a very valuable tool in leading people to salvation or refresh the old timers like me and bring us all home again. REFRESHING.
