This is, quite literally, a copy of the book "Voyage au Centre de la Terre" printed on 8.5x11 and bound together as a paper back book. The binding seems sturdy enough, which is good, but the printing itself is really poor. The text is very light in color and generally hard to read, and the formatting is done in such a way that there are giant gaps of white space between paragraphs and/or between quotes. I'd imagine this book would be about half as thick as it is if the text were spaced like a normal book. Also, the original novel has a number of images and/or drawings of interesting letters the characters discover and this "book" contains none of those nice visual additions.Product details

De la Tierra a la Luna Miniserie de Julio Verne Nueva Edicion en Espanol Spanish Edition eBook Julio Verne Reviews
very good
Do yourself a favor get a real edition, not this book. This printed version does not have an introduction, nor does it have page numbers or chapter separations. On the other hand, it has no shortage of typos! It's the same story, just an awful print.
Increíble novela , adelantado 100 años al tiempo
I loved this book. I have read many of Verne's books and I am always surprised to see the amount of details in his writings.
Great book. Love reading it on my . Nothing quite like reading a classic from the father of science fiction, in its original language version. Dans une mot, merveilleux!
I also like that you can get the academies dictionary for free, and if you need to look up a word the automatically links it to the correct dictionary.
I am still reading "at" it; my reading of French prose goes slowly to say the least. This particular book is a joy to read from, however! A terrific press! The size and shape of the volume, the quality of the print….all make for a more willing wrestle with the language by an expert at procrastination. And of course….it's this wonderful STORY, the writing of Jules Verne, a philosophical novelist of science fiction if there ever was one! Not to mention the illustrations. Livre de Poche is the press to go with when possible. I hope they will publish more texts in French literature and philosophy, and make these widely available.
